yaballas 0 #1 December 18, 2003 I am a new jumper, I just got my A license this summer. I love it so much but I'm in the Air Force so it's hard for me to find a lot of time. I've met a lot of really cool people out at dropzones, but I rarely, almost never, meet any girls. I don't mind the guys, don't get me wrong, but after going to a school where it was 85% male and now spending a significant about of my time in a male dominated career field I'd really like to hang out with some cool chicks. Any suggestions on how to network better?!?

AggieDave 6 #3 December 18, 2003 Man, that sucks, you could have gone to Texas A&M Univeristy, been in the Corps of Cadets, get more hands on leadership experience (Officers are much more hands off then at an academy), still have gotten your commison AND been at a school with a civilian population that has about 50/50 split of guys and girls. Then again, I'm biased and my girlfriend is biased towards A&M.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

Hey Dude you are in the Air-Force. I know there are Chica's abound even if you are in a male dominated career field. I don't want to hear that time B.S. excuse either. I was active in the ARMY and when in garrison there is plenty of time to chase split-tail. Quit feeling sorry for yourself and go venture out! McDuck 0 #8 December 18, 2003 Aaaaand, put me in the list of geeks that thought to offer some technical assistance. Funny, I don't mind doing it here try and help fellow jumpers, but I loathe technical support when I do it here at work.
