Chute 0 #1 December 17, 2003 I got the Protec helmet. BUT, with my large head. The XL did not fit. I even went threw Oregon Areo to get a custum liner but still a no go. Does anyone else out there have a large head (on top of the shoulders) that is oval shaped. What helmet are you using?Bottomless Beers and Blue Skies! * Brother_Brian * D.S.W.F.S.B. #
bsoder 0 #2 December 17, 2003 I bought a Boeri snowboarding helmet. They come in sizes up to 3XL, mine is a 2XL. I'm very happy with it. The XL Protec didn't fit me either.

Chute 0 #5 December 17, 2003 Thanks for the info. Which one do you have? Is it a hard shell (rigid) or soft shell (flexible)?Bottomless Beers and Blue Skies! * Brother_Brian * D.S.W.F.S.B. #
bsoder 0 #6 December 17, 2003 The model both my wife and I have is the Myto Air. I think they're not making that specific one anymore, they've replaced it with one called the Myto Switch. It's a hard shell helmet. They have several models tho - some cover the ears, some don't. http://www.boeriusa.com/
riggerrob 643 #7 December 18, 2003 Larry Sanchez at Bonehead told me that I had the second largest skull he had ever measured when he fitted by camera helmet. Otherwise I normally wear a Protec with the thinnest possible liner. The only full-face helmet that fits my huge noggin is a Bonehead Havok. Guess what I am getting for Christmas? headoverheels 333 #9 December 18, 2003 I bought a Boeri Axis Performance. It's really for more of a round head, but is really nice. I'm going to shave down some of the hard styrofoam liner to improve the fit. The Axis Performance only goes up to XXL, at least online at http://shopslms.com/ski---snowboard-helmets-boeri-ski---snowboard-helmets.html There's still a lot of Myto Air helmets around, left over, but may be harder to find your size. I'm not sure, but think they may a bit more oval. The Myto Switch helmet seems to have replaced that one; it has more versitle venting for skiing in various conditions, but that's not really of much concern for skydiving. I didn't like the way the Myto Switch neckstrap cut against my throat. The switch goes up to XXXL
