Sprint PCS in Tampa?

Anyone have experience using Sprint in and around Tampa and Zhills? What about traveling from Tampa to Orlando?

I'm looking at coverage maps right now and there seem to be big holes in coverage in that area.....I was wondering if it really is that spotty?

It is somewhat reliable. Had no problems when I went there.

I have Sprint, and I've been to Orlando, Miami and Tampa, NO PROBLEMS, good reception.

Note: I'm from NJ

No problems in Tampa (lived there for 3 months) but sometimes sketchy at Z-hills.

I don't remember having any service problems in Z-hills.

My fam lives in Lakeland, right between Z-hills & Lake Wales. They love Sprints coverage. But sometimes, out in the boonies it goes away.

But if you come back up to Chicago in the summer, Sprint sucks here.

Odd - there is a big blank space over the Lakeland area on the coverage map....as well as the area that covers the back roads from Orlando to Zhills (if you don't take I-4 the entire way).

Thankfully I don't go to Lincoln Park that much
