gus 1 #1 December 19, 2003 My other (real world) life hasn't been so good. It started badly when I broke up from a great relationship with my girlfriend and it never really got any better. I have a good job but the more fun I have in my free time the more depressed I am sat at my desk. Luckily my jumping this year has been great, had an awesome summer, lots of jumping, lots of good jumps, good friends, a couple of trips abroad and I managed to achieve some of the goals I've had since I started skydiving. I hope 2004 is just as good. Have a good holiday everyone, GusOutpatientsOnline.com

Tonto 1 #5 December 19, 2003 Best year of my life. I'm 41. For once - I made the right desisions. And I stuck with them through the tricky bits. And I only did 370 dives. I've learned more about what makes me happy this year than I have in the last 20. The stuff before that I'd always known. And I think next year will be even better. tIt's the year of the Pig. skybytch 273 #6 December 19, 2003 QuoteBest year of my life. Me too. I'm calling 2003 "The year of overcoming fears." I subdued several in the past 12 months. Did a bunch of solo traveling, quit my job, moved all the way across the US, became a business owner and met someone really special. QuoteAnd I think next year will be even better. Me too. Life is good. Welcome 2004!
jkm2500 0 #7 December 19, 2003 My life this year has been a good one. I managed to get in about 50 jumps before coming to Iraq. I have learned a lot this year, and grown up a bit. But, between divorce, deployment, and not being home for the holidays I have managed to have a good time. I can't wait to get home and make some more jumps!!The primary purpose of the Armed Forces is to prepare for and to prevail in combat should the need arise. vonSanta 0 #8 December 19, 2003 Heh started off as unemployed, finishing the same way. Good news is that there's a very good chance I might have one come February. Voted good, coz I started skydiving backin...June I think? Found The Meaning of Life, The Universe And Everything. 42 is the number of beers you have to drink per night at a boogie :D. Got 80 jumps in before weather closed the season here in Denmark. 2003 was great - cannot wait for the 2004 season. Will be certified, RW qualified, have my own gear...it's going to be sweet Yeah, definitely a "good" vote for me. If there was a "fantastic" vote, I'd go for that one, though Santa Von GrossenArsch I only come in one flavour ohwaitthatcanbemisunderst
Lee03 0 #9 December 19, 2003 There really is no choice for me to vote. My year has been both good and bad. Some things came out great, others as bad as could possibly be. None of the 4 choices describe my year. It has run the full range, from intense pleasure to the worst pain, from joy to sorrow. From the top of the world to the lowest pit. I don't really know how to describe this year, or what to call it, guess it could best be said that I survived it.-------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule
flygirl03 0 #10 December 19, 2003 I marked good, but it was nothing short of Excellent! I paid off all my debt (with the entitlement from my divorce) I got my private pilot certificate in April after MONTHS and MONTHS of working on it. I was able to fly a LOT this summer, over 100 hours. Went to OshKosh (AirVenture) for a few days. (drove...maybe Next time I will fly there) I have had some great weekend trips. Some flying, some not. Met some Wonderful people. Took my first jump on 9/28. Hope to make #11 tomorrow. Yep, it has been a Super year for which I am So Thankful! Wishing all of you an Excellent 2004!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit
sunnydee123 0 #11 December 19, 2003 We need a "FUCKING GREAT" column.... This has been one of the absolute best years of my life....(and I've been around for 34 of them - 35 in January). I turned 34 in January and found skydiving. A few days after finding skydiving I started making new friends, one of them being the special someone now in my life (after being single for 3 years). My job continues to support my life (and helped me pay off debt from a shitty marriage). My family all appear to be healthy and happy............... I have traveled.....have made many friends and found out that I am not the big "chicken" or conservative little "sit at home" girl my family has wanted me to be. Life is all about being happy - I jump out of planes now and have finally found happiness. This has just been a great year and I hope everyone has a safe, warm and special 2004! See ya 'round I'm sure! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

I know I haven't had many, but this has easily been the best year of my life. *Lost a bunch of weight *Got buff *Started doing stand-up comedy *Started skydiving! *Picked up a few chicks *Got better grades ...I could go on, but you get the idea. 2003 kicked ass...here's to a great 2004. *Raises mug of water* -Kramer The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!! baa75 0 #16 December 19, 2003 Glad to hear the rest of you had a great year! I marked UGLY! 2 nasty car accidents (totalled the first one then got rear-ended in my NEW one!) and knee surgery that put me out of jumping pretty much all year. I think I got about 30 jumps this Spring before the surgery, 5 jumps after and then re-tore my ACL! I can't wait for 2004! BettyAnn Getting married? Check out my website! panzwami 0 #17 December 19, 2003 Yeah it was a good year. Graduated from college. Got my first real-world job, which is actually tolerable. Moved into my own place. Got my D license. Got my first set of gear. I'd say overall it was a pretty good year. Matt -----

WrongWay 0 #20 December 19, 2003 Well, for me, it's been good, bad, and ugly. Skydiving- Pretty damn awesome. I got MAD coaching this year, around 50 or so, perhaps a little more. I went to two kickass boogies, and I'm hitting Eloy in less than a week. I'm taking my AD while I'm there, so if that gets off right, it'll be one helluva season!!! Work- Well, not to shabby, I got a nice promotion this year, so I'm the head computer geek around the bank. It's kinda cool cuz every time I leave a room I can turn around and say "By the way, YOU'RE WELCOME!!" in my best smartass SNL voice... Music- I quit my second band, difference of musical taste I suppose. Plus I'm selfish, I'm used to being at the front of the band, being the drummer didn't suit me well. Love- Hmmm....do I wanna post this?? Well, in short, I dated a few here and there this year, but none worked out. Always next year!!! Family- Unfortunately I lost two grandparents this year, RIP. But on the plus side, I have my first (BEER!!) nephew on the way, and he's due January 7th, and I'm REALLY excited about that!!!! That's really about all I can think of, so there ya go, my year wasn't too shabby!!! I hope everybody else had a good year, and I wish you all much love and happiness in the next one. RoadRash 0 #23 December 19, 2003 Quoteprobably the worst fucking year of my entire fucking life. thanks for asking. Sounds like my year...Day 1 of this year: Recovering from surgery that was required to fix my broken and dislocated tib/fib...Day 2: was a little better...stayed doped up on Vicodin and Valium. Day 3: Don't remember b/c I was still doped up on V+V. There are some good things that happened though...attented my first WFFC (only as a volunteer) then started jumping again and thoughthe year started pretty shitty, it is ending pretty well...I will be recieving my first set of gear in a matter of days...!!! SkydiveNFlorida 0 #24 December 19, 2003 I started skydiving and have made almost 100 jumps in 5 months. My GPA has gone up and i'm now an honors student. I still have my job, and it has actually gotten even easier if that is at all possible. I met a great guy who I really enjoy spending time with. I have met some personal goals which have made me a less dependant person. My car still runs, the sun still rises, and I still get paid for doing very little. This has been a GREAT year! Angela.
