wingnut 0 #4 December 22, 2003 interesting..... i wonder if the film makers really thought that much into it when they made it. or if it is all one big coincidence...... i'd like to hear thier take on it or the screenwriters take....... either one would work..... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
meatmissile 0 #5 December 22, 2003 Say, T So, if Smith is the only human (and an American as well, I presume ), he has to be the good guy, right? -- ZZZzzzz....
Tonto 1 #6 December 22, 2003 QuoteSay, T So, if Smith is the only human (and an American as well, I presume ), he has to be the good guy, right? It's t, not T. Little t. Big T is someone else. I don't have enough info to answer your question with any certainty. Are you going to any of the boogies this year? I'll be at the Dal 30 Dec... tIt's the year of the Pig. meatmissile 0 #7 December 22, 2003 Ok, little t. I'm going to try and make it to the 'Dal, but I have a lot of family-related stuff on over new year's, so I'll probably only get there on Saterday the 3'rd. I'll definitely be at one of the Easter boogies next year though. (any idea of when/where yet?) It's been a while since I jumped a Porter. I miss it a bit, 180 of my 300-odd jumps were made from a Porter -- ZZZzzzz....
sheldond 0 #8 December 22, 2003 Interesting interpretation of the Matrix. however, I do not agree. Zion can't be a program. If it was, the the people that are part of Zion would be able to bend and break the rules, same as they can in the Matrix. Neo isn't the only one that can bend the rules. I'm assuming that all the ones that have been unplugged, and regularly visit the matrix are able to beat up on the agents, and jump buildings and such. Morpheus and Trinity both did jumps. If Zion was a program, shouldn't they be able to do the same? A point that has been missed. The spoon concept in the second Matrix. This has now been a little while since the first episode. We are left to infer that many other people have been unplugged. This boy with the spoon is one of them. Giving Neo the spoon is a reminder that indeed he is the one, he just has to believe it. Just my observation. Won't get into starting an argument over it. If others don't agree. Make your points. I am still very confused about the whole matrix concept. I think it was a valid way to look at the matrix, but I do not feel it is what the writers intended viewers to get out of it.

Tonto 1 #10 December 22, 2003 QuoteThe spoon concept in the second Matrix. This has now been a little while since the first episode. We see the spoon in Zion - rather badly bent. Remember - there is no spoon... tIt's the year of the Pig.
