Gawain 0 #1 December 22, 2003 I haven't seen them...so... 1:4:0 The "one" is a very special surprise, which I am still trying to find the source (though I have my prime suspects). When I arrived at Elsinore this morning to put money in my account, Marcia said, "Oh, you need to know about the balance on your account." "What's the balance?" I asked. "$140.00" she said. That's about $100 more than I remember having since I last jumped there. It appears I stumbled onto a Christmas present a few days early! So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! wingnut 0 #2 December 22, 2003 : 2 : 1 did two jumps this weekend, one head down/sit in my new freefly suit, it rocks, thing is the nasty twin bonaza spit oil on it when i was waiting to get on board the plane, had to be on the first jump on it, but i guess better to get oil on it than get a gras stain from a nasty landing... the hd jump was awsome, exited holding hands with my friend joey and then we released and were just hanging out relitive and then he transitied to a sit and then i did and then he went back head down and then i came down to him in a sit... it was awsome..... also ot to see someone snivel through cypres teritory... he landed a nice stable biplane in an open field..... i landed near him and got his freebad for him.... a valuable lesson was learned atthe dz this weeeknd,,,,, ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
happythoughts 0 #3 December 22, 2003 An interesting 5-pt 12-way with some excellent flying in it. At one point, 3 4-way stars, everyone kept an eye on each others levels. Today there was a 1-pt 32-way. We were missing a grip on the 2nd point.
Push 0 #4 December 22, 2003 :5:1 Winter jumps, yay. Cold but very beautiful. First Mr Bill, too. Here's a very serious tip for posterity that I'm considering writing up at S&T. When doing a Mr Bill, make sure that the person who is going to IAD you is going to shortline you. Throwing the PC right after the pair exits is a very bad idea. -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.

mikkey 0 #11 December 22, 2003 No jumps in spite of warm summer weather. I did my yearly Christmas party - feeding and entertaining 30 people. No time for jumping, that has to wait until Boxing Day.--------------------------------------------------------- When people look like ants - pull. When ants look like people - pray. Kris 0 #13 December 22, 2003 0:3:0 Did a jump on my BirdMan GTi today and lost a bootie on exit. To say things were interesting would be an understatement. It took me a bit to find the right balance but by then I was hosed. The uppers were cranking close to 50 so we took the spot just over 3 miles out from 11K. I got the suit under control by just above 9 and was able to put a little speed on around 8K. My friend Cody was doing his first BM jump on a Classic we were able to borrow and he left me in the dust. I ended up opening about 2 miles short and it seemed that the winds had really died up above 3K as well since I wasn't getting back near as fast as I wanted, but they were definitely screaming (15-20) below that. On top of that, there were plenty of high-tension wires in the area I had opened up over and also in between me and the DZ. I decided to play it safe & hike so I slid in over a big alfalfa field and put it down in the center. Cody pulled up in his truck as soon as I made it to the road. The new kid on his first jump on the Classic made it easily back to the airport. Punked by a 17 year-old on an FX and on his first BM flight.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
