Chute 0 #1 December 22, 2003 I have made my own pin necklace. Made it out of hematite. Looks kind-a kewl. I am now wondering. I have the necklace going threw the hole of the pin. I have seen some hanging down. Does it matter what direction it goes. Like the ear ring thing of the 80's. Left ear ok, right ear.... light in the loafers. PhillyKev 0 #4 December 22, 2003 Of course it matters. The posts before me are people who want you to do it wrong so they can make fun of you. If you have it one way, you're really cool. The other way, and you're a dweeb to be ridiculed for all eternity. I'd tell you which way is the right way, but I have to go beat on some loser with his shoe laces alternating in the incorrect fashion.
PhillyKev 0 #5 December 22, 2003 Oh...and btw....the rules only apply to closing pins. I guess opening pins get pointed in the opposite direction.

ripper0289 0 #7 December 23, 2003 Mine points to the right, but that's because that's how I put the clasp on, springy thing in left hand. BTW, that's my oogly face, so the pic may not be SFW, or for anyone eating, or prone to night terrors

TitaniumLegs 8 #9 December 23, 2003 Some people say left, towards the heart. I guess that's so if you go in, it might penetrate and help finish you off. Or maybe not. (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.

dove 0 #11 December 23, 2003 I've most often heard left but no one can really give a reason why. I tend to put mine on whichever way it's easier to clasp being right-handed. Hmmmmmmm - I've always heard it referred to as a CLOSING pin. Fall in dove.
