Flu symptoms?

Recommended Posts

What are some basic flu symptoms?

I know I have a fever (although I don't have a themometer so I have no clue what it is). I've had general nausea since about midnight last night, diarrhea, general muscle soreness, just within the past 5 hours or so have I been able to keep even water down...haven't tried any food (haven't felt like eating).

I thought this was a basic food poisoning thing, but I'm not sure.

This sucks, I had a lot of stuff to do today, including driving 4 hours north to Sherman, obviously nothing was done. I've spent 90% of the day in bed.

Fever - 102-104 lasting 3-4 days
Headache - Prominent
General aches/pains - Usual, often severe
Fatigue, weakness - Can last 2-3 weeks
Extreme Exhaustion - Early and prominent
Stuffy Nose - Sometimes
Sore Throat - sometimes
Chest discomfort, cough - Common, can become severe
Complications - Bronchitis, pneumonia; can be life threatening

Yeah, it's fine, we'll walk down the line. Leave our rain, a cold trade for warm sunshine
You my friend, I will defend... and if we change, well, I love you anyway

Dave, you chould ask a doctor these questions. Make sure you keep hydrated, drinks lots of water, or fluids, better if it is room temperature. Chicken soup really helps.

Do you have someone that can help you out tomorrow?

Eh, not really. I'm just going to try to get some of the stuff done (like wrap the presents for my folks) and drive to Sherman. Once there I can lay around, maybe go to the family doctor.

Forget the wrapping and make sure they know your condition. Don't take a chance to get worse, drink a lot of fluids, maybe get some Thera-flu...
