Vertical RW suit for first suit?

Recommended Posts

Im now working on my A. I was looking at the Vertical RW suit as a first jumpsuit. Without grippers or booties (I can add them later if I want). The student suits are too baggy for my slow fall rate. Im 6'1", 185. My instructors say im going to need a slim fit suit to stay with others in freefall. I've got my helmet, googles, analog and digital altimeters, so the jumpsuit is next on my list.

Any pros/cons to buying a new first jumpsuit? Or any other recommendations on other jumpsuits companies? I've looked at a bunch, don't know how different companies compare.

Just wondering...

Did someone tell you that you could add grippers and booties to an existing VRW suit?

Or did he say that you could buy an RW (belly, flat) suit later?
