Little baby Heineken?

Recommended Posts

Do you or anybody you know have a children named after products? It seems like they would have unusual names, but it just doesn't seem too creative to me. Like you could be sitting there at home one day trying to decide on a name for your child while drinking a beer and look down and be like "I'll name my child, Heineken". "Look how cute my little Heineken is....awwwwww." It just sounds weird.

Here's the link to the story about it.........

True story:
My older sister is a librarian at a public elementary school. A few years ago she was working at a school and there were two twin girls that were named Oranjello (pronounced "Or-on-gel-O") and Lemonjello (prodounced "La-mon-gel-O"). (I don't know if that is the correct spelling of their names)
As you can tell, their mother named them after Orange Jello and Lemon Jello. Nice huh?

I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

Little (used to be) hippie town North of San Fran called Cotati. I used to hang out with this chick named Groovy, middle name Nipples. Her Dad Vito, was kinda an icon in the town. Had pics all over the living room of him hangin with people like Frank Zappa, the kids playing with Moon Unit and Dweezil. This guy was even on the Gong Show:D. Groovy had a sister named Sophia Cream, and brothers Sky, and Freakus. Quite the entertaining family, and great people too.

Friend of mine from high school was named Mercedes after the car.

however, she hates the car (and, she says, the rude driving habits and road rage that so often accompany high priced luxury vehicles).

She goes by "Misty" and is going to permanently change her name to Misty before she finishes med school. Doctors arent' allowed to change their name after they get their licenses, so she has to change it before graduation.

You really have to think... what if the kid doesn't like the product you name them after??

Naming kids after products goes WAY back, though. In the 12th century, French philosopher Peter Abelard and his girlfriend (later, wife) Heloise named their son Astrolabe. That kid must've been SO teased as a child!

Another question popped in my mind after I wrote the post.

Is there any product that you love so much that you would name your child after?

If I had a daughter I'd name her WINGS :D:D:D:P

Naming kids like that is stupid :|
