Plummet 0 #1 December 31, 2003 Today, I made a skydive with my son! How cool is that?? Joshua is on a 10-day leave from the US Army where he is stationed in Germany. Before he enlisted, 1.5 years ago, he graduated AFF but ran out of time before getting his license. So, being that un-current coupled with the fact that his basic brain structure has been messed with by the Army, we decided a tandem was in order. He got up in the air again. THAT was what it was all about. I stung the tandem and got to fly with my son. I just find that awesome. Josh and I rockin' to the same tune. I am a happy camper. Alas, Josh heads back to Europe on Thursday. In a couple of months his unit is going to take a spell at playing in the sand. Chances are I won't get to see him for another year. But today, I get to brag about jumping with my son. BTW, I have also had the great pleasure of skydiving with my dad.-Jeff. http://www.iplummet.com Common sense and common courtesy are NOT common. I can't wait until my son is old enough!! Very Cool, and congrats!!The primary purpose of the Armed Forces is to prepare for and to prevail in combat should the need arise. sdgregory 0 #7 December 31, 2003 Plummet you are living the dream. I hope everyone of my kids take up skydiving. IF they do I will pay for it. I want to eventually do a family four way. How cool would that be! OF course they say they want to now but when the time comes we will see. Now if I could only get my wife to join us! But noooooooooooo she will not even consider it. Maybe I can get her to get her pilot's lisence! What a great idea! . . . >thinking<
