JadedLady 0 #1 December 29, 2003 I just wanted to write to say how wonderful it was to get to jump here in Ohio in the middle of winter. The weather yesterday was amazing! No clouds and in the 50s, who can complain? We had a pretty nice sized gathering up here in Xenia, OH. It was just the thing I needed to get me out of the rut I was in due to the weather and holiday stress. It was great to see all of my friends again and even get to meet new ones.(Nati, if you're out there, again I am sorry about that little mishap ::sheepish grin::) I also got a chance to meet another DZ.commer. Sean,(sdgregory) I had a great time getting to know you and your friend, John. I do hope you guys come out here more often now. It may have been a little muddy (got covered on jump three when landed in a just tilled cornfield... I would never have guessed it could be so mire-like) but couldn't argue with the weather, I didn't even have to wear gloves! Now, as for my Greene County friends who made the trip all the way to Eloy... ::evil grin:: I can only hope you guys are having a great time out there despite the cold. Blue skies, everyone! Let's hope we can get more days like yesterday this winter!~~~~ Rachel ~~~~~~~~~~~ -Converting the world one whuffo at a time.
