I'm on that load too Perky, plus my mate Blair! fancy trying a BASE exit (if we're allowed)?

All exits from the balloon require standard skydiving gear. (This means that a main and reserve parachute are required in your container.) :)

How do they feel about a balloon McConkly ( sorry about the misspelling ) exit with a reserve in your container and a main not in the container? Or just let me know if you want me to shut up now.

Tom A. might be the best person to ask on this, i've never done one but I think doing it out of a hot air balloon is asking for trouble. In order for that to work you have to push off from the basket to make sure you clear your canopy, pushing off from a hot air balloon is bad juju for everyone who is left in the hot air balloon.

Answered in a prior post. As the balloon takes off from SDA it is a skydiving operation. Your parachutes have to be packed in your container....LOL...sheesh

Proper tongue action is an important part of doing jello shots. Most people can't get their tongue to the bottom of a beer cup.

There is a $100 deposit on all raft jumps and you must provide the raft as well as ground crew for retrieval of said raft.

just wondering.. what is the deposit for? possible damage the raft might do??

Well humph! Part of the deal with the vendors was that they provide items for the goody bags....AND a coupon for the New Years balloon drop. Some of those items are worth thousands of dollars each!:P:P

oh i'll help. i know that i personally like blue and red jello with 151!!!!!!!! bring it on. and i'm with sunny on this one, who said there was no jello wrestling?

Yep, i'm (probably) going to Sam's tonight to pick up some Giant sized family packs of green jello.

The logistics on this are a nightmare - what are we going to put all that jello in?

And just what is that supposed to be Bucko!:P

Where are we going to hold this famed match?
How much are the tickets going to be?

We are starting the bidding for referee

So . . . What do you bid?

Care to elaborate? Will those changes apply to CRW jumps as well

CRW is a specialty jump during a boogie and requires permission. Those jumps will only be offered to experienced CRW jumpers and will probably occur on the first load of the day.
If folks are using demo gear, they can expect to be on the first load as well, or manifesting with Tandems. Deployment altitude will be no higher than 5,000 feet AGL on these jumps. Any other jump, the deployment altitude is no higher than 3,500 feet AGL with exception given to wingsuit flyers. Wingsuits will have a seperate jump run as well as designated airspace. This jump run and airspace may change on a daily basis, so it is imperitive to check the board outside of the BirdMan school.
The problem in the past has been folks not following the safety guidlines, crossing the runway prior to 2,000 feet AGL, and not staying in the assigned airspace.
With several aircraft flying at the same time it is for obvious reasons, an issue of safety.
Additionally, the management reserves the right to deny specialty jumps, so best to check with Bryan Burke or Pat Patton before manifesting.:)

who's wrestling again?

So far it is just SunnyDee123 and Freeflygoddess, but we can have a challenger for the winner of that match.
