Why do this?? Eesh! Vomitting is just soooo uncomfortable. I thought I was 'comfortably drunk', but turns out I was 'completely smashed'... ...so what about you? ACMESkydiver 0 #5 January 2, 2004 I have a fully stocked bar Girlfalldown; the sub-freezing temperatures and some unfortunate tragedies kept a TON of people from coming to our party last night, so we had WAYYYY too much liquor and 5 cases of beer just sitting here... -Come help yerself! I kinda liked it, truth be known...I get a lil' claustrophobic with wall-to-wall people, and usually I end up on the far corner of my deck during our parties 'cause there's just no room inside . But this time there was only a handful of people that braved the weather to make it, and it was fun and not-so-crowded. Of course, if you ask anyone who was there, they'd tell you that I really couldn't have realized how few people were there anyhow in my advanced state of intoxication...there were prolly like 8 people and I was just seeing doubles and triples!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. Girlfalldown 0 #6 January 2, 2004 ah no worries, I'm trying to make up for it tonight...well actually I'm just reading dropzone.com and drinking a nice big glass of wine while my room-mates play some skate boarding video games on the big screen next to me.. whoo hoo it's a party! It was a nice New Years regardless of my alcohol intake or lack-there-of. I got to eat some scrumptious food, was taught how to play ping pong, it wasn't too cold outside, I wasn't seeing double, and I was with the one person I wanted to be with most of all when the clock struck midnight. I actually passed one coworker on his way into the office as I was leaving to go home. Oy Vay! Fighting the cold and flu that has been going around, finally feeling better by new years eve, so what does a good skydiver do.... drink heavily on new years what else. Well, yesterday I had a combination hangover/return of the cold and flu. Not good. Many visits to the porcelin God! I learned a lesson that I hope I don't repete. (Ok, one taste of champagne at midnight). And, I was able to go mountain biking the next day! (Maybe there are some advantages to this non-drinking thing....NAH!)
