McDuck 0 #1 December 26, 2003 Instead of pursuing the American dream further and immersing myself in debt (after working hard to eliminate all but one of my bills), not to mention cutting back on skydiving for a few months (unacceptable), Cora and I have decided not to go to Thailand this year for the boogie. However, we are batting around the idea of going to WFFC in Rantoul. Might be good for me to see some of my old stomping grounds while in tech school years ago. So, who else plans on going to WFFC?Kevin - Sonic Beef #5 - OrFun #28 "I never take myself too seriously, 'cuz everybody know fat birds don't fly." - FLC Online communities: proof that people never mature much past high school. McDuck 0 #6 December 26, 2003 Heh. I don't think I'm brave enough to venture into Pembroke. I actually value my cranium, and I'd rather not have it cracked open with a whiskey bottle. Okay, so WFFC it is. If I remember Rantoul at all, I imagine quality lodging will be scarce. Will camping be allowed at the event?Kevin - Sonic Beef #5 - OrFun #28 "I never take myself too seriously, 'cuz everybody know fat birds don't fly." - FLC Online communities: proof that people never mature much past high school. skybytch 273 #7 December 26, 2003 QuoteWill camping be allowed at the event? Yup. Tent, RV's, popups, whatever. If you want to do the party WFFC, camp in the center triangle - an easy stumble from the entertainment tent and close to the dz.com tent. If you want to do the jump a lot WFFC, camp out towards the swoop pond - or if you got the bucks and an RV, in the RV park (bring scooters/ATV's/golf carts to get back and forth with). Regardless of where you camp, I don't recommend locating your tent anywhere near Sunshine's.

flyangel2 2 #9 December 26, 2003 QuoteSo, who else plans on going to WFFC? Gee, I don't know. I've done the WFFC so many times. Maybe it's getting old. NOT. I'll be there doing the LO thing. Bill, Amy, and I have some great things up our sleeve to share with people that come to the LO tent. Now, if I can only get the Bytch to join us BTW Lisa, I don't think you're a man hater. Who ever said that to you, must be a man. So, let's go kick him in the nuts! May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. McDuck 0 #10 December 26, 2003 Hmmm, I'll have to make sure we put ourselves in a poition to have the most fun, and that includes learning as much as we can with a liberal dose of partying mixed in with the skydiving. McDuck 0 #12 December 26, 2003 QuoteTwist my arm... ouch! Okay! Okay! I'll do it! And with that, the Bytch is in. Any recommendations for newcomers? Let me know what days and times work for you. You better hope I don't see you entering a portypottie at any time during WFFC... but especially after dark. That spot was either your fault... or Mike's fault.
