happythoughts 0 #4 January 2, 2004 A great time was had by all. It seemed like everyone knew someone and was talking in an animated fashion. There was some dancing on the deck in front of the band. A small amount of drinking. Every once in a while, I tossed a brick of firecrackers into the bonfire. That woke people up. Various parties around the dz. Plenty of people coming and going at Muff Central. The party continued on the 1st. 3 nice jumps for me. At night, we had a huge pot of turkey/rice/veggie soup with mince pie. I ate like the pig that I am. Perhaps he had a secret agenda of getting all the honeys drunk for wild nignoggery. Of course, jello was also distributed to accompanied women because it makes the world a better place for boyfriends. I was one of the very few if not only sober person. Do you know how hard it is to babysit over 300 people? I organized night jumps. Thankfully no one got seriously hurt. One guy scraped his knee. Johnny got burned by some of the fireworks. He went to the hospital the next day and all is good. It was definitely a blast as always! If you didn't make it you missed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When is someone going to speak up and say "Let's stop these condiment-related injuries"? Personally, I think that if she had been up skydiving, her knee would not be scraped today. Yeah we had a blast, especially Johnny Muff!! And yes, Bill's firecrackers woke up a few dazzed Finnish skydivers lolling around the bonfire!
