Ducky 0 #1 January 5, 2004 I am looking for help finding accomodations near at or very near Squaw valley in February. My snowboardin posse from back East here are planning a trip to Tahoe this year. We are flying into Sacramento and meeting up with a few friends from the Bay Area. I am striking out finding a 3-4 bedroom Condo or House that is actually at the slopes. Just curious if anyone has been to Squaw and can recommend anything???? kwakSometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. Sometimes your the hammer sometimes your the nail. Question is Hun, Do you wanna get hammered or do you wanna get nailed?????

lummy 4 #5 January 5, 2004 TRy looking in Tahoe City or TRuckee, both are pretty close. If you don't mind driving a little, you can always stay in Reno, which is about 40 minutes away. Heavenly... BAHH!!!! there's a reason that all the "good" resorts are North Shore ;)I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. Heavenly... BAHH!!!! there's a reason that all the "good" resorts are North Shore ;) YEAH!! You tell em Lummy! I hate Heavenly with a passion for snowboarding. Too many flat spots and too many damn skiers. Definitely go to the north shore if you plan on boarding. I can recommend some good hotels to stay at in Truckee. Here's a list of hotels I've stayed at before or wanted to stay at that were recommended by friends: Alpine Village Motel Interstate 80 & Donner Overpass (530) 587-3801 Alta Hotel 10101 West River (530) 587-6668 Best Western Truckee Tahoe Inn 11331 Highway 267 (530) 587-4525 Cottage Hotel Donner Pass Rd (530) 587-3108 Donner Lake Village Resort Hotel & Marina 15695 Donner Pass Rd (530) 587-6081 The Inn at Truckee 11506 Deerfield Dr (530) 587-8888 Loch Leven Lodge 13855 Donner Pass Rd (530) 587-3773 Northstar Hwy 267 & Northstar Dr (530) 562-1010 Richards Motel 15758 Donner Pass Rd (530) 587-3662 Sunset Inn 11700 Donner Pass Rd (530) 587-8234 Truckee Hotel Commercial Row & Bridge (530) 587-4444 Butthead: Whoa! Ducky 0 #8 January 6, 2004 Thyanks for the advice peeps. Heavenly has lots of lodging options, but Squaw seems to have less. I am still hoping to find a house or condo. A place with a kitchen can save 6 guys ALOT of $$$$ in a weeks time. kwakSometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. Sometimes your the hammer sometimes your the nail.
