flyinghonu 0 #1 January 6, 2004 Just got a new Dell last night. Hooked it up and downloaded my pics from the digital camera. Tried to attach on DZ.com and keep getting a message that says my file size is too large . Anyone know how to reduce the file size? Please be gentle - I have already admitted I am a computer idiot . shunkka 0 #3 January 6, 2004 if u have a photoshop it`s very easy u can reduce the dimensions with image size tool or there is a shortcut special for u (ALT i + i) after it u can resize put 600/400 pixels and after go on file - save for web and save a .jpg format it`s easy if u dont have photoshop tell us what programs do u have instaled on ur computer ------------------------- "jump, have fun, pull"

TitaniumLegs 8 #5 January 7, 2004 IrfanView is even easier and free... See here for the last time I explained this. Free. Easy. Works. Easily found on the internet. Kinda like me. (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.
SkydiveMonkey 0 #6 January 7, 2004 Choose the "save for web" option as well. Keep attachments to less than 50kb ____________________ Say no to subliminal messages
