Out and About in Perris

Recommended Posts

Yeah I know the Bombshelter is a great place, I was in Perris in 99 and had a real good time, Dianne even hung a pair of my shorts from the roof to commemorate my nekid antics in the bar.

We will be living in the IHOP therefore probably in the Bombshelter most nights. I just like to get away from the DZ occasionally and meet some other Californians.

well...

some fun places to hang out in california are, of course disneyland, 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica (bout 1.5 hour drive), venice beach (again, bout 1.5 hr drive).

There really aren't any "hang out" places in perris, that I've found. Seems most folks head into OC or LA for their fun.

Temecula has a casino, sometimes a good band plays there.I went once just to check it out and Chicago was playing.
Wineries are there, never been and don't know of tour times, etc.
Don't dring and drive! New law I think is 0.05 bac !
The newest hang out in Perris would be the Wind Tunnel!..I'll be there next Sat. morning! 1st time! 4 minutes!

Yep, that's kinda the bummer about the Perris crowd.

People have forgoten how to just hang out around a bonfire and entertain each other.

Thanks guys,

We are planing on doing the canopy school, 5 hours in the tunnel and 30 or so jumps during the weekdays we are there. Some of the guys will want to stay and jump weekends but a couple of us want to get about.

Any of you guys jump there mid week??

There is a lot of freeflyers on the week days. If you are looking for fun on the weekends I would say go to the Irvine Spectrum. Find me when you get to Perris and I will give ya directions. Lots of bars and ladies hanging out on the weekends.
If you like video games and booze, they have a really nice adult arcade, with two levels and a bar on each one. They also have an indoor gocart track that is really fun when you are good and drunk. Balboa is also a nice place to go but it may be a bit cold at night down by the ocean.

San Diego is only an hour away from Perris (compared to 1 & 1/2 to Orange County. . .There are great places to hang and party here. . .

Buzz,

Moreno Valley is just up the 215. It has quite a few "spots" to hit. I lived and worked down there for a few years (yep, on the DZ) but hung out in Moreno Valley cuz that's where my bro lives.

Have a great time!
