alanab 0 #1 January 5, 2004 I have yet to see a thread like this started and I feel that one definitely needs to be here! I want to truly thank betsy and sangiro for the absolutely amazing eloy holiday boogie. First of all, I want to thank sangiro for making this website that brings us all together, to talk about the thing we all love most. If it were not for him and his talent of the web and skydiving, we would not be here or have this site. As for Betsy, she needs mad props for planning such a kick ass boogie. She worked really hard to keep it so organized and it went more smoothly than I could have ever imagined with that great number of people! Eloy was my first really big boogie that I attended and I was nervous going into it. I couldn't have asked for anything more though. I honestly had the absolute best week of my life last week and wouldn't exchange it for anything. I made 26 jumps and improved my freeflying skills a lot. We cannot forget to thank Omar and Greg G for their FREE (yes, I repeat, FREE) coaching. That came in super handy to me being a broke college student wanting to be the best freeflier chic in the world, to be able to get coaching from the world's best for no cost! I met the coolest people I have ever met last week in eloy that I will never forget and can't wait to see again. There are too many to list, so all of you who I met and got the privledge to hang out with... you know who you are. Even the people I met and didn't really hang out with that much, I still loved meeting you. You can never have enough sky friends. I have no regrets from eloy and am planning on attending again next year no matter what! I will never forget the eloy holiday boogie 2003. I am only looking forward to meeting more of you and getting to know more of you next year.... hopefully sooner. You have all touched my life in a special way. I thank you all a million times and can't stop thinking about it. Raise your glass, or whatever to Sangiro and Betsy please everyone. They deserve the best! I'm going to go make my first donation to the site right now, I encourage you all to do the same if possible! Thank them if you were in eloy or not.... two of the greatest people for sure Thanks again.... I love you all
MochaSkyChick 0 #2 January 5, 2004 I'll toast to that. It was definitely an AWESOME boogie! Thank HH, Betsy, Greg & Omar and to everyone involved! It was one of the best boogies I've been to so far. PMS #62 Zarza R[red
CanuckInUSA 0 #3 January 5, 2004 Well said Alana. I didn't spend enough time mingling with the DZ.COM crowd (I was a little too busy seeking out certain people to jump with, as well as doing jumps gear towards breaking a bad habit that Omar uncovered on my jump with him). But my Eloy Holiday Boogie '03 experience was awesome. I made 75 jumps, had my first reserve ride, participated in numerous fun tracking dives and of course made many many many fun freefly jumps. Heck I even made two jumps with Alana and Melissa rodeoing myself and JTVal with Omar trying to hang from us. Good times were had by this camper. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
jtval 0 #4 January 5, 2004 here's a nice thing to do. buy HH a jump! everytime I see him I give him a JT. (jump ticket)( and sometimes when I have extra cash I send him some $$ online. here Betsy is another story I'm not sure she has to pay for her jumps. so I donate any thing I can. even though it wasnt much.My photos My Videos

BB - sure hope you have been able to start catching up on all the sleep you lost - but you sure know how to throw one HECK of a shindig! And HH - thanks for the jump. It was TOO much fun - only downfall was I forgot to take a pic of the jump gang...next time! Despite the cold temps and occasional "air traffic", Eloy was an AWESOME experience for sure. Next year I'll be better prepared for the chilly temps so I can "hang out" more.....I bet I won't even make it to the video since I don't recall seeing many cameras in my face Hugs to EVERYONE who made it a good time......see ya again soon! Thanks so much for a wonderful time to ALL of the peeps down there at Eloy...Next year I guess I have to do the whole damn thing... that was the worst part... just being there from the 30th to the 3rd..... WAAAAAHHHH The staff and people of Eloy did themselves proud. Got some work to do and all year to do it. Going home to your family for Christmas...what a stupid idea. I think the formations really changed my mind about things and watching it just aint gonna be good enough anymore. Walked by the dz.com tent but didnt see anyone there I could recognize, there was one guy walking around the dz quite a bit, in a black dropzone.com long sleeve shirt, sort of middle aged, around 6' tall, just wondering who that was.
