OH MY GOD! Speaking as a combat veteran from the Marine Corps, I really have no words. Many tears, but no words to express what I feel from seeing this. I think what you see in this is a portait of the real America! I'm choked-up.. sorry.

Thanks for posting the thread I'm not ashamed to say seeing the picture's of respect brought tears to my eye's.

I may be wrong but I suspect this show of respect can be attributed in a small part from the way some of the G.I.'s were treated when they returned from Viet Nam and Korea.

That was so beautiful. If I had been there, I would've bawled like a baby. Nothing touches my heart more than an outpouring of love and appreciation from an entire community. When people come together in difficulty and sadness, I think that is the most wonderful thing. Humanity can be utterly depressing and repugnant at times, but this type of thing shows what's really in our hearts. :)
God bless the fallen soldiers.
