Throttlebender 0 #1 January 26, 2011 I remember hearing someone mention miniforce rings having possible release/malfunction issues. I did a search here but found nothing. Has anyone ever experienced or heard of a legitimate eperience of this happening with the Icon system? While I'm asking....any otheer issues with this particular harness?Life expands or contracts in proportion to one's courage. ~Anais Nin
dragon2 2 #2 January 26, 2011 I haven't heard of any incident with miniforce risers. The rig itself, if fitted with a skyhook, of course has the riser cover issue. ciel bleu, Saskia

Throttlebender 0 #5 January 26, 2011 Yes, I'm reading the SB for the skyhook issue now. But I'm looking to know more about the ring design and any performance issues if they do in fact exist.Life expands or contracts in proportion to one's courage. ~Anais Nin
riggerrob 643 #6 January 26, 2011 There MIGHT be compatibliity questions if you install Mini-Force risers on a harness built by any other manufacturer. The compatibility question relates to the length of the cutaway housings. To comfirm that the cutaway housings are long enough, install the Mini-Force risers and pull them in all possible directions (up, down, sideways, etc.) away from the harness rings. If the cutaway housings never get tight, those Mini-Force risers are compatible with the harness.
