Push 0 #35 January 12, 2004 I saw this exit on video where the guy stands like a floater, pushes off the bar with one hand and goes into really fast barrel rolls. hmatousek 0 #36 January 12, 2004 On my first jump after getting my A license I forgot that the person i was jumping with would not be right by myside like the jumpmaster was. I get to the door and check the spot. The DZO was in the plane and tells me to get out. EricaH is moving to the door and I jump out. My brain just didn't realize that the other person should be near me in order for the two way to work. It was a learning experience like all of these situations, learning experiences. kelel01 1 #38 January 13, 2004 QuoteMoron here. What is funneling? Well, since no one else answered you, I'll do my best. Funneling is basically when an exit (or a mid-skydive maneuver, I suppose) goes to hell and gets all flippy and twirly. I'll use it in a sentence: "My solo, poised exits always funnel because I suck, and Craig at Z-Hills nicknamed me tumbleweed." Get it? Kelly
themitchyone 0 #39 January 13, 2004 Congratulations on your first solos . Mine will most likely be this weekend. I couldn't imagine not doing the ready, set, go mainly because if I didn't I might be tempted to hesitate on the exit ."If the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn't, it's that girls should stick to girl's sports such as hot oil wrestling and foxy boxing." - Homer Simpson

Pammi 0 #49 January 14, 2004 Skyhi, granted I'm sitting here getting drunk (not to the boobies and baby oil phase yet), but I loved the post! It reminds me of everything I love about skydiving. No offense, but all of the talk about how our parachutes work and how well I'm progressing in my skills bores this the shit outta me. My parachute works, I know, naive of me, but someone else is getting paid to figure out why and how, I will just learn to fly it. As far as my skills, I would rather not kill myself or anyone else, but other then that, I started this to have fun and that's all that really matters. Some of my best jumps were the most fubar'ed crap that ever came along, SO much fun. Glad to hear you're having a good time and not taking it too seriously :) Pammi
