Rediculous

Recommended Posts

I was in my physics lab and an army guy dressed in camies in the group next to mine had an airborne patch. I asked him if he was a skydiver and he started trying to impress me.

He was talking about HALO jumps etc. then he starting talking about HAVLO (high altitude VERY low opening) jumps. He said he opens at like 1200ft and started telling me about how dangerous it is. I have a few very close friends in the military who are sport jumpers but they have never heard of HAVLO jumps and they are quite familiar with military jumping as well.

Is this guy just full of it or has anyone actually heard of a HAVLO jump?
