PhillyKev 0 #1 January 15, 2004 I got 1, yes, that's ONE, hour of sleep last night and on hour 7 of an 11 hour work day. This sucks...
caress 0 #2 January 15, 2004 Sorry to hear that. Can you go home soon, or can't you atleast grab a power nap? I sympathize, I've been there a time or two from lack of sleep.-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.
PhillyKev 0 #3 January 15, 2004 No...can't leave, it's the one day a month I have to stay real late. I wouldn't be as upset about this if I had gone out partying or something last night and did this to my self, but it was just a case of big time insomnia. Didn't get to sleep until 6am, up all night alternating between laying down trying to sleep, watching tv, and organizing shit in my apartment.
Casie 0 #4 January 15, 2004 It sucks to be you right about now.....sorry! Sendin some major **vibes** your way!~Porn Kitty WARNING: Goldschlager causes extreme emotional outbursts!
happythoughts 0 #5 January 15, 2004 Whew! Thought you were at home or something. Go ahead and take a nap. Put on a headset like you are on a conference call, put a pen in you hand, close your eyes, and face a wall. I don't know how I would make it through the day without my 1-3pm nap. Dagny 0 #6 January 15, 2004 Duuude. I've been averaging 3 hours of sleep a night for...well, a while now. Mostly by choice. It gets better when you make friends with the people in your hallucinations. Trust me. Take me, I am the drug; take me, I am hallucinogenic. -Salvador Dali
PhillyKev 0 #7 January 15, 2004 Yeah....well, it's been 3-4 hours every night for a week. Last night was just the winner. I'm actually a lot more alert than I expect to be, but I know if I let my self blink too slowly, they won't open back up again.
jerry81 10 #8 January 15, 2004 Don't you just love it when reality starts melting around the edges? And did you notice any changes in your behaviour? I know that when I get less than 4 hours of sleep, I become so cruelly sarcastic I can make people cry...
PhillyKev 0 #9 January 15, 2004 Actually I'm just kind of numb. Some personal stuff is probably the root of the insomnia, but right now I'm not even upset about it.....too tired to care. Unfortunately when i lay down to sleep is when it starts bothering me.
freeflir29 0 #10 January 16, 2004 You don't get the really good effects until your 3rd day or so with NO sleep. The Army's FM 21-5 says 3-4 hours a night for "Sustained Operations." So....stop your whining.
