bshl 0 #1 January 16, 2004 I don't quite know what to do. I just got home from work. No biggie, I normally do that about this time on weekdays. I walked in, hugged my kids, chatted with them a bit and started wading through the bills and junk mail. The first few things I grabbed went straight to my son to toss in the recycle bin. Then I got an 8.5x11" envelope from Tony Suits. I had requested some info from them, Flight Suit and Michigan Suits a couple months ago so ending up on somebody's mailing list was rather to be expected. I love seeing what wonderful things are out there that I can't afford. I think it's called lust. It was a gift certificate for $365 off a custom jumpsuit. I was speechless. My goofy wife won't fess up as to who was involved but apparently she put a group together to go in on a jumpsuit for me. I love the quote she put at the bottom: Happy birthday from a bunch of people who love you and some who don't. I'm still overwhelmed. I've been checking the DZ.com classifieds so long I think my browser decided to make it my home page to save me some clicking. I figured when I was ready to get a jumpsuit that I'd ask for your input. I guess it's time! Woo hoo! I don't have any "real" gear yet. I have accessories like helmet, Pro-Track and goggles but not a jumpsuit (yet!!!), container or canopy. That means it's time to start thinking about how cool I want to look. I'd like something that stands out on the ground, in the air and in video but that's different than the usual DZ fare. I like the idea of yellow/black but am open to any/all suggestions. Pictures and links are great. Tony's suit looks cool, as does this one. What do you suggest? Anybody have or seen a really hot, unique jumpsuit/container/parachute? I'd dearly love your help in picking the right color scheme. Nothing like setting yourself up for success! Thanks, everyone. I'm still a bit wowed. And to think I expected cookies or something for my birthday (next Thursday). Wow. Woo hoo! Yee haa!!! Blue skies and happy landings!

ACMESkydiver 0 #4 January 16, 2004 Awesome gift!! Are you sure you don't know who pitched in?? Oh, Ok then...I helped!!! He he hee... Quick advice if you're looking at matching gear... Black and yellow and red are prolly very good choices...most companies don't have too much variance in shades of yellow or red. I just ordered my rig and canopies in black, royal, and neon green. Aerodyne makes both, so shades should be very close...and for my jumpsuit, it will be black with royal and neon green grippers. I'd attach pix of the gear order (I think it looks sooo kewl!) but i absolutely cannot figure how to copy a colored order form off of Aerodyne's website... VERY cool gift from your wife, man! Give her BIG kisses...the french kind!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
dustin19d 0 #5 January 16, 2004 I have a Tony swoop suit. Great features and awesome construction(well worth the price). Go to the tony site and they have and interactive suit designer so you can see how different color schemes look. And with $365 off it will be damn near free with all options. P.S. if you use there online designer keep in mind your monitor will show colors slightly different than they look in real life.

bshl 0 #13 January 16, 2004 Are those grippers on your freefly suit? How do you like that? Anybody else have this combination? I tend to fall like an anvil so I'm thinking a freefly suit might help me match fall rates with floaty people. True? Blue skies and happy landings! Ron 10 #16 January 16, 2004 Well congrats on the new suit. Funny thing, the guy that Tony is docking on in that pic is me Another funny thing...Everyone else in that pic is sponsored by him, and Javelin....Notice Im wearing a Vector, and a Michigan? Now about getting a JS......It is a lot like getting a tatoo. I would not want something so wierd that it stands out to much.
