Casch 0 #3 January 16, 2004 There are two that I use, but for the most part, I use Ad-Aware, it's free and it's effective.

Eiley 0 #6 January 16, 2004 Spybot S&D seems to work extemely well for me. Free, and includes periodic updates. nothing to see here
bch7773 0 #7 January 16, 2004 I love mes adaware. free and effective. only annoying thing is that it constantly discovers that cookies are really "tracking files". well duh! MB 3528, RB 1182

aero04 0 #10 January 16, 2004 I use Ad-aware now. For me I found that AA worked better than Spybot. When I'd run Spybot, it would find some files, then I'd run Adaware and it would find more. However, if I ran AA first, it would find some files, then I ran Spybot and it would find nothing. Just my 2 cents.
freeflydrew 0 #11 January 16, 2004 Ad-Aware doesn't always remove all the necessary components... I vote SpyBot... and get rid of kazaa and use kazaa lite instead... or the itunes music store
