rhino 0 #1 January 18, 2004 Raw Almonds.. Eat 20 a day.. Soak them in water for 24 hours prior.. From what I can find they are #1... I've been eating almonds for 3 days.. For the first time in a while I don't feel COMPLETELY drained at the end of the day. And I haven't had heart burn at all? I thought water was a good thing to lower acidity. I found out that most water, even filtered is on the acidic side. You have to actually add an alkaline to the water to lower the acidity. Just wanted to share.. ACMESkydiver 0 #2 January 18, 2004 I don't get it, Rhino...so almonds increase energy? But they're like all fat, aren't they? Isn't that worse in the long run?~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
skyyhi 0 #3 January 18, 2004 Actually, nuts. . .especially almonds are a good source of protein. . .and the fat they contain is actually good for you. Sometimes when we diet we tend to take TOO much fat out of our diets. . .that isn't necessarily a good thing. . .________________________________________ Take risks not to escape life… but to prevent life from escaping. ~ A bumper sticker at the DZ FGF #6 Darcy

rhino 0 #5 January 18, 2004 Our body requires a certain PH balance to function properly. An acidic body = decay. I have had heart burn alot and a lack of energy.. Reading up on health I've seen one really huge commonality in the books, articles and web sites for the most part.. People have too much acid in their bodies. What the almonds do "specifically almonds" is raise the alkalinity.. Here is one of a few places I have looked.. http://www.excelexgold.com/about_alkaline_body_ph/about_alkaline_body_ph_maintext.htm Rhino
