pilotdave 0 #1 January 22, 2004 Back to cold ass CT after 4 days of jumping and wind tunnelling in FL. 16 jumps, including one at Deland and the rest at the collegiate boogie in Williston. Met a few dz.commers, including arlo who came rushing from home when I emailed her from the bar at Deland. Got to check out Relative Workshop, although they were closed at the time... just a couple people working. Never seen so many sewing machines in my life! Jumped an awesome King Air at Williston. Purple velvet interior with leopard print straddle benches, air conditioning, a NICE sound system in the benches, and fuzzy dice in the cockpit. Best of all, 8 minutes to 15,000. Probably second only to Mullins plane, but much more personality. Got 20 minutes of wind tunnel time with great coaches from Deland Majik. Learned the mantis position. Had lots of fun. Helped catch a thief (long story). And my team placed second place in 4-way scrambles (ok, there were only 3 teams). Tonight I ordered me some professional hosting for skydivingmovies.com. The new site should be better and faster than ever. Best of all, I'm guaranteed it'll be online 99.9% of the time. A whole new site is currently being designed. If all goes well, it'll be user friendly and searchable. Completely web based. I'll make an announcement whenever the site is online. That's about it.
