bendywendy 0 #26 January 22, 2004 I was wondering where you had been. Hope it's getting better. We started up our $15.00 fridays again, too. AND this time we'll be taking them to 15,000 feet. So get better and come on back!
winsor 236 #27 January 22, 2004 QuoteSo my 1 year anniversary is approaching (1st tandem 1/25/03) and I have been "on hold" from jumping for the last few weeks yet I had this goal of hitting 400 jumps in my first year....Do you think it is possible to do 20 jumps in a weekend or will I be killing myself? So long as the weather is good and you can get on enough loads, it should be no problem. I banged out 28 at one of Mike Mullins' Boogie 'til ya Puke events (thanks Mike!) with my own pack jobs (I pack kinda fast), so I can guarantee it's possible. catfishhunter 2 #28 January 22, 2004 You've been averaging 8.33 jumps a weekend ( assuming this would be 2 day weekends) at your current pace so adding an extra day would put you at 12.49 in a average weekend. so you will be jumping 2.66 extra jumps a day to hit 20 in a weekend. Shouldn't be two hard for ya considering your current pace from the numbers you have said. I would just add 2 hop and pops to each day along with regular jumps and no worries. *Disclaimer* my math skills ain't the best so the numbers could be/probably are off MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT Life is Short and we never know how long we are going to have. We must live life to the fullest EVERY DAY. Everything we do should have a greater purpose.
sunnydee123 0 #29 January 23, 2004 Was I missed ...I know it was pure TORTURE not being around but for the best I'm sure and now my shoulder feels pretty good. We'll see how it feels after a few jumps - the true test. I heard about $15 to 15 and was mucho happy fundito! And besides, where else would I really want to spend my birthday other than "HOME" ......I'll always love Sebastian! As to catfishhunter...you are to funny with the mathematical calculations. I'll let ya know how things go...... Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
