VanillaSkyGirl 6 #26 January 8, 2004 QuoteQuoteHe was actually pretty nice and gentleman-like thats it!! my reputation is now ruined. OK, then, Gimp...you tried and succeeded in getting me drunk. (Actually, Heather was the one who really pushed me over the edge from buzzed to drunk with her shot.) Once I was drunk, you also tried to put your hand on MY bum. that lasted for half a second before I removed your hand. You tried to kiss me on the lips when the clock struck twelve, but I presented my cheek to you instead. You kept trying to make me even more drunk, but I stopped drinking after two Apple martinis (I think) and Heather's shot of whatever that was. (Yes, I'm a lightweight!) You also tried to tell me that to become a "Rodriguez" you had to take a shot from my belly button, the lemon/line from my lips and salt from my nipples. I refused and walked away from you. Do you feel better now? Is your image restored? LOL! I still know that you are a "secret gentleman"...at least to me, and I will leave it at that. I like being treated well, Gimp. Please don't ever change. Cyber hugs and kisses, ROSA
 sunshine 2 #27 January 8, 2004 It is funny how he tries to pretend he's not a decent gentleman since we all know the truth.
 VanillaSkyGirl 6 #46 January 11, 2004 Quote i was chicken shit and didn't introduce myself. i am just shy like that Well, at dinnertime in the Bent Prop one night, I was sitting by myself looking to see if anyone that I knew was there yet. You and Amazon were walking by, and I waved you both over to please come sit with me. You sort-of waved back and kept walking. Thank God that Kelli came and rescued me from eating by myself. I understand about being shy at first because when I went to Eloy, I was supposed to have met up with some of the DZ.commers that I knew (Kelli and Andrea) and go climbing. Sadly, there was a problem with their phone reception, so I ended up going in to Skydive Arizona instead after not hearing from them for hours. I knew absolutely no one at the Dropzone.com tent. I can be very intimidated and shy myself when I first meet people, so I was building up the courage to introduce myself as I stood there by the tent. Thank God Sangiro introduced himself! He really made me feel at home. He even offered to jump with me, and I never did . (I sooo owe him a jump!) He was just the nicest man, as was every DZ.commer that I met! It's strange, I had other people PM me that they were too shy to talk to some of us because we all seemed like a close group of friends. Don't they know that some of us (like me) just began to jump this year. I also just met everyone for the first time and was attending my very first DZ.com Boogie? I only had about 105 jumps when I went to Eloy, so I was a little intimidated around all these experts, as well! How funny is that!?! The one thing, though...we all NEED to take advantage of the talent that is there to help us. I would much rather look stupid in the air and learn/improve a great deal, than never try to better myself or my skills. When I get my new rig and can FF, I will be taking advantage of both the RW gods, like Airspeed, AND the FF gods, Omar and Greg. I am also looking forward to jumping with the very lovely pixie, Ms. Betsey! Edited: Ashley, I hope that you will jump with me at the next gathering.
