I was probably absorbed in my copy of the Metro while waiting for my train, which was delayed surprise surprise. you get quite a lot of people wandering around Victoria station looking lost and trying to find people so you don't pay too much attention. I've only actually ever seen one person in London that was also wearing a closing pin, and that was on the tube last year sometime. Led to a surreal nodding at each other and muttering of 'blue skies' much to the bewilderment of our fellow commuters. Who's your operator? I'm under the joyus lead of the goverment now. South Eastern Trains, woooooo.. [soapbox moment] The bastards have now added 22 minutes to commuter time trains. It stops at exactly the same number of stops, and goes to the same place. Its all so the train will get to victoria on time, well of course it bloody will, they've given it another 20 minutes! This means the train now has to travel SLOWER and we get to sit and wait outside victoria every morning. All so the goverment can say, since they took over, more trains have arrived on time. I get the fabulous South Eastern Trains also but we get proper electric doors rather than the slam door ones.
