Gawain 0 #1 January 24, 2004 Continuing to add variety to the weekly numbers game. You may recall my past "salesman" like posts with statistics for jumps off and on through the year. I now present you with the final statistics for the whole year. Last February, I stated the lofty goal (for me) of 240 jumps for the year, 20 per month. Unfortunately, those objectives were not met. Career and finances got in the way. 2003 was not a good year of jumping for me. See the chart below with stats for the year (graph attached ): Monthly Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Quota 20 20 20 20 20 20 Jumps 20 15 15 12 19 5 YTD Jumps 20 35 50 62 81 86 Mo./% 100.0 75.0 75.0 60.0 95.0 25.0 YTD % 100.0 87.5 83.3 77.5 81.0 71.7 Monthly Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Quota 20 20 20 20 20 20 Jumps 4 0 4 0 3 10 YTD Jumps 90 90 94 94 97 107 Mo./% 20.0 0.0 20.0 0.0 15.0 50.0 YTD % 64.3 56.3 52.2 47.0 44.1 44.6 Now, 2004 is off to an outstanding start, conditions are vastly different. Debt is greatly reduced (all but a car note) and employment is stable, and so far, rewarding. My goal is to do twice as many jumps this year as last. Shy of my 2003 goals, but I'll be happy with it. How'd everyone else fare?So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! bobsled92 0 #2 January 24, 2004 That's a reasonable quota. We only have 2 C-182s and people are getting 12 per weekend and 4 on Tues &4thurs? I take time to pack. Dave DeWolf is stil getting over 300 jumps a year here. @ 71 years old_______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/

adamsr 0 #6 January 24, 2004 only 50 for me last year being a student with no money sucks, plus i can't get to a dz in term time, plus i broke my ankle in 3 places last christmas (not skydiving, i went ice skating and fell over) so had to have a 3 month lay off. hopefully this year will be better, although money could be a huge problem!! sdgregory 0 #7 January 24, 2004 33 but I started in Oct and last jumped in Dec(only 2) Living in Ohio and adding to the fact that the first 25 jumps cost me 2500 smackers AND I bought my own Alti, Suit and rig bringing the grand total spent on skydiving to date to $6,738 for the year I say 33 ain't bad. Allowing for the same expenditures on jumps this year I could reasonably expect to see 320 jumps for the year. However I plan on going to Eloy, WFFC, and the boogie in Chicago so let's say my goal is 250 and I hope to have my C license so I can go to AerOhio's Keys trip in Jan 2005!
