freeflir29 0 #1 January 24, 2004 I'm a cheap bastard so I hate spending money but.....I just bought a Sony PC 105, a DBox (Hopefully this will prevent my last cameras fate), and a Cam Eye II. Somewhere around $900 just flew out of my "Reserve" checking account. Oh well....now skydiving will be MUCHO fun again. On the up side I went out with a friend last night and we got talking about cameras. Seems he had a JVC. Like most JVC's the thing just stopped working. I happened to mention that I was buying a new one and he decided he wanted my old one. So...I parted with it for $200. It seems to still work just fine but it's missing a good chunk of the plastic casing around the lens. So to me....it was fairly worthless with no WA lens. $200 was far better than the DUST it has been collecting since I broke it a year ago. One of these days I'll even upgrade to a "REAL" still camera. Right now all I have is a Cannon Sure shot 65. Don't have the mounting or switches quite all together though.
