Winter Has Officially Hit the St Louis Area

Well I knew it had to happen sooner or later. In the past 24 hours we have gotten over 2 inches of ice, 1 inch of snow and there is more snow on the way for tomorrow morning. I HATE THE MIDWEST!!!!

I HATE the midwest too.. I am tryin to sit here and hate it really bad for you but I have to admit I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and Sandals today and really enjoying being outdoors even though I wasn't skydiving..

Now work and responsibility .. thaere's something worth hating..

I feel your pain...need to get away from sub-arctic temps...and I will...in exactly 4 days...I will be in FL...livin' it up in Orlando...and Lake Wales too..I think...WHOOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!! Bring out the shades and shorts!!!!

manhattan ks is getting it pretty good too. We had freezing rain all day, 5 inches of snow/ice by tomorrow. oh yes, high temps of 26 F, with north winds of 25 mph.

meanwhile, yesterday was 50 F and sunny and beautiful. the weather god must be laughing at us midwesterners.
