bobsled92 0 #55 January 24, 2004 NIce! I gave a blue diamond as a promise ring and got F'ed over. You made a better choice with blue Topaz and a better girl than the one I supported._______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/

PrairieDoug 0 #58 January 24, 2004 Hey Kansas bro, I know you mean well, but someone needs to set you straight about what women really appreciate. I happen to be single (again!), but my experience has been that women like practical gifts. Think vacuum cleaner, cookware, or even household appliances if its really serious. You want something that says you really value all that she is and does for you. Now I just need to figure out why my relationships never seem to last... Snowwhite 0 #59 January 24, 2004 gosh when I first read this I thought the thread title said "do you think my gf will like my wife?"skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
baa75 0 #60 January 24, 2004 Its beautiful but if my bf were giving it to me he had better be VERY clear that its just a gift and I'm still not sure how I'd react. Hopefully it doesn't fit best on her left ring finger or people will be asking when is the date! I've seen so many people use other stones in engagement rings. They look awesome and different, instead of the same ring everyone else has. Sorry but I would be expecting that little qn after opening that box. Good Luck! BettyAnn Getting married? kansasskydiver 0 #61 January 27, 2004 Well as some may have read she posted and said she loved it. She knew it wasn't a "popping the question" ring and we're not to that point currently in life, school, money etc... Funny thing though is that most people have asked when the date is or even what's the other meaning behind the ring. One of our friends gf's is actually a bit upset I think because she didn't get something nice for Christmas, hopefully that doesn't turn into a breakup... But just telling those who were curious, she loved the ring, there wasn't any odd momment of silence as she waited for me to pop the question, nor did she just reply with yes. good times and bluies to all Chris<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist!
