ChasingBlueSky 0 #9 January 26, 2004 wow, would love to see what you guys would do with the weather we had yesterday - unexpected 3 inches of lake effect snow. life as normal here, and I still had 5 appointments show up to my office. oh yea, all the alleys in my neighborhood have been sheets of ice for the last 4 weeks, everyone up here still drives through them as if the ice wasn't there. It's pretty funny watching everyone in FL panic when they hear they may have a frost in the middle of the night. Everyone putting blankets on their bushes and bringing as many plants inside. They act like it could be the end of all vegetation in the state._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Stay warm, dude! Vinny the Anvil Oh mayun I miss deep fried ocra. Or some grits made right or some fried green tomatoes. Why do northerners put jelly or sugar and cinammon in their grits (that is assuming they know what grits are!)? God that is nasty! Salt, butter and no instant crap! sdgregory 0 #15 January 26, 2004 Hey Gimp, It snowed in South Florida in 79 when I was in the first grade and there was just enough to see it on the cars and the whole damned county came to a halt!

sdgregory 0 #17 January 26, 2004 QuoteThey act like it could be the end of all vegetation in the state. That is because the vegetation in Florida is tropical and frost does serious damage to them. Can't remember how many times the Orange crop got damaged by a freeze.
