Global Warming will cause Ice Age????

Recommended Posts

Not the first time I have ever heard of this, and the end of the gulf stream would cause some major issues.

I was told when I was in Ireland that the gulf steam is what made it possible for tropical plants to grow in certain parts of Ireland. Yup, Dublin was the first place I ever saw a palm tree.

OK, just wanted to make sure. I was like, gee, I know I never agree with him, but come on... Sorry I misunderstood. I don't know what's really up to discussion here. Except, the UK's weather already sucks and it will get worse. Hope that doesn't bring more of them over here, I never can seem to get their sense of humor. Sorry, but Mr. Bean is just not that funny.

That's the problem with complex systems.

and

That's why politicians can't be trusted to deal with issues like this.

How do you think it should be dealt with?

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best, until we have the answers. Sticking your head in the sand and pretending it won't happen is asinine.

I changed all my light bulbs to those low wattage ones to offset the fuel economy of my very large SUV. Just doing my part.:D

Buy a Prius GM, come on, what do you use that SUV for anyway?

I use it for business and for hauling my Harley-Davidson around. Plus since it is a very large SUV, I got a huge tax write-off. Thank-you Bill Clinton.

You know I disagree with just about everything you say and now I know why.:P

Mr. Bean is hysterical, so is Monty Python, Benny Hill, Are you being served and a zillion other comic gems from those that lost the Revolutionary war.:D

I do ride the Harley a lot. Over 5,000 miles per year, but I'm too old to ride on a long trip. Plus my GF has to take all those "womanly things" when we go away for a week or more.:P:P

Just another example of why we can't wait for "proof" that global warming is real. By the time we have the proof it will be to late. And even if we are wrong about human contribution to global warming cleaning up the environment is still good for us.

"Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at evening."

Sorry man. Just something not right with the picture of a Harley being towed by a Suzuki. Whats the towing capacity on one of those? Would have to be at least 1200 lbs minimum.
