How can I tell type of RAM without opening computer

I've got a computer that I just want to determine if I can rip it's RAM out of it or not. Is there a simple program I can use or somewhere I can go to see what type of RAM I'm using on these extra computers?

I found cpuid but it dosn't tell me anything about the memory.

Try SiSoft SANDRA. It's a full on benchmarking program, and tells you quite a bit about your system. If it was a real PC, you'd be able to see through the window anyway
