Gawain 0 #1 January 28, 2004 Placed above it makes greater things small. Placed beside it makes small things greater. In matters that counts it always comes first. Where others increase it keeps all things the same. What is it?So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! This part I don't understand how it could be 1. placed above it? so like 50/1 still is 50... it didn't make it smaller. placed besides it? 50x1 is still 50. it didn't get greater MB 3528, RB 1182

See I assumed that the "it" was the number 1. so when you say "placed above it makes greater things small", I thought it ment "(a number) placed above it (1) makes greater things small." for example, 50 over 1 is still 50. argh... I think it is just worded weird. the wording always gets me. MB 3528, RB 1182
happythoughts 0 #11 January 28, 2004 It could be worded better. "placed above it makes greater things small" should probably have a well place comma. "placed above, it makes greater things small"
