Jib 0 #6 January 29, 2004 We had '77, '78 (parts car) & '74 spiders. Want the '74? It's restored! The only place I remember getting parts from was from Virginia. International Alfa, I think. base311 0 #7 January 29, 2004 just curious... what do you mean by sills? Rubber molding (er... moulding) around the windows? seals? as in front seal/rear seal? shaft seal? I mean.. you call it a boot fer crise sake. It's a trunk! I guess you're pretty good at turning a spanner. lol I suppose you've tried all of the owner's associations/clubs?? http://www.auto-makesnmodels.com/Alfa_Romeo_Clubs.html good luck Gardner
Shotgun 1 #8 January 29, 2004 Quotehttp://www.international-auto.com I used to have an Alfa ('81 Spider), but I had to sell it when I moved to CA because I needed the money :-( I often ordered parts from International Auto too. Oh yeah, and I became good buddies with my mechanics during the time I owned the car - had their phone number memorized within the first month of owning it ;-)

Gawain 0 #12 January 30, 2004 Well, your profile says you're in the UK. Alfa Romeos are still sold there right? Anyway, I did a basic search and found: www.veloces.co.uk I guess they're in London. Don't know if that helps. We used to own an Alfetta (78?). After a few years, the car refused to shift into second gear, the valves gummed about every couple of months (8 valve/DOHC). When it was "fresh" it was quite the sporty little sedan. That was supposed to be my first car. It didn't live long enough. Saw an old GTV6 on the way to work today. I miss Alfa in the US. Thanks to the scuff between GM and Fiat, I guess Alfas re-entry to the US market may be well delayed beyond 2007. I don't know if their quality has improved any, but they still make some beautiful cars (the new Spider, GTV, GTAs....mmmhmmm ).So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
