Slappie 9 #1 January 30, 2004 Sitting here in Houston, don't have any tickets. Was wondering if there were any other skydivers in Houston for the Bowl and what'cha doing? Even if your not in Houston what'cha doing for the bowl? Weather here is supossed to be crap. AggieDave 6 #2 January 30, 2004 We're all going to Todd's house to watch it on his little 65" FlatScreen HD TV, with the surround sound. We'll definately not be sucking.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

I'm probably sitting on my couch eating chips sucking beer and watching it on my nice flatscreen 32" not as huge as a 65" but I have a pretty small livingroom "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them." Slappie 9 #5 January 30, 2004 QuoteI should be swilling beers in the pub with Alana, Steph, and Vicki. Over in the UK it should be close to a 12 midnight start time. You should be pretty heavily medicated by then I would hope. Slappie 9 #12 January 30, 2004 Quote will be trying my damndest to ignore the fact that everyone gets so excited about something so dumb. I've been trying to do this for the last 6 months. The Houston media, city, transit authority and any other goverment agency has bombarded the city with ads, psa's etc.. I just wish the NFL would get the game over with and get the hell outa my city I have to admit though the excitement is kind of contagious. The parties have been big, Sammy Hagar playing 3 nights in a row is sweet. I haven't been to any, I don't have the $20 + beer to attend.. KMonster 0 #13 January 30, 2004 Everyone should be sure to watch the pre-game show...there is something extra cool this year, I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it.

SpeedRacer 1 #15 January 31, 2004 I am going to a Superbowl party with my homebrew club. Everyone's bringing food & their homebrew. So it will be like most superbowl parties, but the beer will be WAAAY better! And everyone will snear at the Bud/Bud Lite commercials. tunaplanet 0 #16 January 31, 2004 QuoteEspecialy since there are 2 shitty teams in it..... May not be the two most flashy teams, but they are the two best remaining. If you're looking for two explosive offenses torching the scoreboard for 28+ points a piece, then you will be dissapointed. However, if you're looking to see phenominal defenses including the #1 defense (Panthers) who boast tremendous defensive lines along with two superd coaches, then you're in for a treat. Note to casual football fans - it doesn't have to be a high scoring game for it to be a good game. Watching a great defense is as enjoyable, if not more, than watching a high scoring offense.
