frenchcloud 0 #1 February 2, 2004 france is a fabulous country where i ve lived all my life. paris is my city and when you walk through it you can see some of the most stunning women that nature created. however, since there s only a few skydivers in france compared to the US, there s even fewer women skydivers. i m new to this website since i ve known for only 2 weeks that i was coming to the university of Illinois next year. and so i need to take inforamations for next year and i can t wait to skydive in a totally different place. what struck me is the number of female skydivers . it s almost like i never imagined i would ever get to meet women in that sport. maybe french women are not crazy enough.... and that s too bad cause i love crazy girls! skydiving is the greatest thing that happened to me and i am looking forward to jumping and sharing the sky with crazy american women. -------------------------------------------------- The tongue is NOT only a tool for speech! kallend 2,150 #15 February 2, 2004 Make sure you visit Skydive Chicago - about 1.5 hours from U of I Urbana, 1.25 hours from U of I Chicago (U of I has campuses in both places). frenchcloud 0 #21 February 3, 2004 well, i m glad to come to u of ILLINOIS because i get to live in a different place, meet different people with whom i ll hopefully have interesting and original conversations. why am i coming? i got a job there. i ll be teaching french for 2 semesters. true, i ll be far from home but it s what i like. it s an amazing experience. i hope i ll make friends and travel around . i hope some of them will show me around like i ve done with all the american students i ve met in france. i already taught french at clark university, MA. i want to come back to the US but somewhere different so my eyes get to see different things. i wasn t a skydiver when i was in MA. know i m coming back and long to jump there. maybe we ll meet and jump together. -------------------------------------------------- The tongue is NOT only a tool for speech!
