The dude sits next to me and I can't help noticing he has chains around his shoulders and leather straps on his chest. Proceeds to fasten the straps, padlock the chains, and handcuff himself. Roger does a gear check for him. So, being more than usually curious, I say "Hi" and ask what is going on, He introduces himself as Anthony Martin, and says he is practicing for a TV shoot "next week" in Idaho. Roger will be the cameraman. And at 13,500 he does a nice poised exit, with Roger following. We lean out the door to watch. Eventually, way way below, we see the canopy open. Cool!... dropdeded 0 #5 February 4, 2004 They did the stunt over the Snake River Gorge, which was supposed to be playing a part in the bit but that part went right over my head, I didnt get it. I think it was the Evel Knievel connection that made them choose the Snake River.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
