Guest #1 February 6, 2004 I caught a couple of episodes of this program when I was up late at night after being laid off. I thought it was pretty good television. Notice, I didn't say it was pretty good football, or pretty good reality. These are all exclusive of each other. That being said, I always try to give credit where it is due. Yes, it was formulaic, but the novelty of the venue for the drama was what hooked me. Too bad. But, it's kewl that ESPN had the moxie to try a dramatic series in the first place. "Playmakers" Cancel on ESPN here. mh"The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
