skymama 37 #1 February 5, 2004 I just passed the FL real estate salespersons exam, but please don't make me use my license, I don't want to sell anything! My boss made me take the class to get my license 2 years ago. I passed the class but never went for the state test to get the license because I don't want to be a salesperson. My boss hit the roof 1 1/2 weeks ago because I never got my license. The class certificate only lasts for 2 years before it expires and you have to take the 60 hour class again. My certificate would have expired on 2/12. So, for the last 1 1/2 weeks, I've been cramming for the test, all 20 chapters in a book I hadn't picked up for 2 years. Passed on the first try! Good thing I have a really good memory, it makes it easier to pass tests. The only downside is that I don't retain anything for very long. Now I'm told I have to get my broker's license. Here we go again. We build large, custom homes. Our broker's license is currently in my dad's name, but he's worried about the future and what will happen if he kicks the bucket.
