JohnRich 4 #1 February 8, 2004 From the Kim Komando Newsletter: CALIFORNIANS SHOULD APPLY FOR MICROSOFT VOUCHERS As part of a lawsuit settlement reached last year, Californians are being offered $1.1 billion in vouchers from Microsoft. The settlement covers products bought from February 1995 to December 2001. Plaintiffs in the lawsuit claimed Microsoft had overcharged Californians, violating antitrust law. The issue never went to court; instead, the settlement was reached. The vouchers can be redeemed after the holders buy computer equipment. If you live in California and bought Microsoft products, you're probably eligible. Organizations that bought a lot of software could collect thousands in vouchers. You can get more details, and apply for the vouchers, at: http://microsoftcalsettlement.com/
