counting down to my next adventure

Recommended Posts

Only a few more hours and I'll be on the road again. :)
Got me a 2004 Astro van with ski racks on the roof and less than 8000 miles on it. It's cushy. It's also packed to the roof with crap! Got pretty much everything I wanted to take in there except two boxes of books (scifi collection); guess I'm gonna have to have my kid ship those to me.

Those of you who have my cell # - feel free to give me a call if you're bored over the next couple days... I'm hitting the road about 9:30 am Pacific time Monday morning. I promise I'll answer as long as I'm not in one of the many dreaded analog roaming areas in the western states.;)

Are you sure you can't find a way to cram them in instead of something a little less dense?

Nope. There is nothing in there that's less dense! And the van is so full of boxes I can't even use the rear view mirror...

Hey, how come you didn't come say hi to me at Perris yesterday? Geez... if I didn't know better I'd think you didn't like me or something. ;):P

It's got New Mexico plates. And two side view mirrors. And I won't be exceeding the speed limit by more than 5 mph ever.

No worries, there ain't gonna be nothin' in there that I can get in too much trouble for. :D

I didn't even see you! Didn't even have a clue you where there. It's not like I was working or anything, I was just hanging out. Hmmmph.

Hmmmmmph....I -called- her and made a point in being where she was when she was there. Even -after- a long day of work in another location. :P

Thanks for the fun, bytch! Wish you could stay in town a bit longer.

Books are heavy and expensive to ship.

Are you sure you can't find a way to cram them in instead of something a little less dense?

Paul, if Lisa's son mails the books at "book rate" it's cheaper.

Darn, I did have Lisa's cell phone number at one time. Now I can't seem to find it:(
If anyone has it, drop me a PM, I want to give her a hard time, and make sure she's enjoying the package I sent her;)

Okay, update on Lisa. I got her number, thanks to a special dropzone.comer, and gave her a call. It was about 9:00 a.m. her time in Calif. Hell, she wasn't on the road yet. She was standing around talking out at the DZ. But, she was with Paul, so I asked her to give him a "grab" when she wasn't in full view of the public.
Wonder how far she's gotten in two hours? Maybe as far as Hemet or Suncity?

Damn that girl. It sure took her some time to leave. I guess there were just too many people to talk with.
