ChasingBlueSky 0 #1 February 9, 2004 See Original Thread here: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=907785;#907785 This is the DZ in Goshen, IN. I was told about this earlier today - they lost just about everything and two dogs from the fire._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Kramer 0 #2 February 9, 2004 This is my home DZ. It's just a little Cessna dropzone that is trying to get full time turbines, etc. Fast growth doesn't come easy when stuff like this happens. Bo, if you find out any new info, let me us know would ya? -Kramer The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!
ChasingBlueSky 0 #3 February 9, 2004 I am getting my info 2nd hand from a very good, trusted friend of mine - her name on here is WendyBird. SkydivingNurse 0 #4 February 9, 2004 Poor little doggies. The equipment loss stinks, but man, to lose two pups? That would be awful. (If I had to choose between losing all my possesions in a fire or losing a dog, the possesions lose, I wuvs my animals.)
ifics 0 #5 February 9, 2004 wow when it rains it pours! thats what, the 3rd DZ fire in a couple months?
Shark 0 #6 February 9, 2004 That's very unfortunate and I can totally empathize. It's only been 3 weeks since we lost everything. Shark D-24499, AFF-I Skydive Elsinore

Vallerina 2 #9 February 9, 2004 Why do bad things happen to good people??? Like I said in the other thread, these are two of the most generous people I have ever met. Bo and Paula took me under their wings when I was just starting out in the sport. They always make sure that I'm fed and have a place to stay, too! Since they've helped me out so much in the past 3+ years, I will help them in any way I can. If anybody else out there has anything to spare, I ask that you help if you can. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
ChasingBlueSky 0 #10 February 9, 2004 Just for clarification - I am not the Bo that Val was talking about!_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Vallerina 2 #11 February 9, 2004 QuoteJust for clarification - I am not the Bo that Val was talking about! Oops! Sorry I don't always make myself clear! I was talking about non-dz.commer Bo! Paula is a dz.commer (paulagc.) Both Bos rock, though! Non-dz.commer Bo is Val #1 since he stole my first kiss pass! Snowbird 0 #12 February 9, 2004 What!? Damn. Feeling your pain, as we're still in the middle of rebuilding our clubhouse. We didn't lose much gear, but a heap of electronics and stuff are toast. And that's so sad for the puppies. They say things happen in 3's. Okay that's three now, NO MORE FIRES! Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. Heinlein
Lee03 0 #13 February 9, 2004 I hate hearing about the Dogs being lost, and it is bad about the DZ fire. Hope this isn't a trend that is starting.
