well - for the job they want done, there are really only two companies out there who can do it - Haliburton and Schlumberger. Schlumberger is a French concern. Who you think they are going to pick?

Or better yet, come up with another US company that can tackle the job.

I know that there aren't many companies out there who do this kind of work, but what strikes me as really intriguing is how secretive they try and keep this stuff, telling people to "not bother to file under the freedom of information act". Why not? Is it because they're really worried about people wasting their time, or because they might have a court force them to release the information. To me the latter seems much more plausible.

Hmm the work is "oil restoration" ?
There are more companies around than Hally's and Schlumberger.
But I'm all for it, I work for Haliburton, seen my new tattoo?B|
